Yep, we have NO submissions for Static Movement for December except for a few poems that we will publish from one of our editors, Margot Miller.
I know that part of the problem is that the holidays are coming rather quickly and everyone is busy with that, but we need submissions if we are going to remain a zine...
I'm sure that another part of the problem is that I have not had the time to advertise on other forums for submissions...and this is because I don't have my own computer in my own space, I'm using my sons for right now and it's not as comfortable for me to be here as it would be my own. I would appreciate any and all help with this, perhaps those of you who have a blog and/or visit various forums, you could advertise for Static?
One of the managers at work is going to start work on fixing my own computer, and when that is done I will be able to go everywhere and tell everyone about us. Meantime, any help is appreciated.
We are still planning on a print copy of Static Movement using RAZAR Productions, and I have a few other ideas, like a print Static Poems copy because of all the wonderful poetry we've had in the zine, anyone interested in this should email me at: printstaticmovement at hotmail dot com (of course you should turn this into a real email address)
RAZAR is coming along nicely, and those of you interested in that print magazine should read the submission guidelines and come on and send in your best work. This is the neatest project I've seen yet for print magazines. Go see at:
RAZAR magazine.I'll be announcing the winner of the Static Movement contest with the December issue...
Till next time,
~Chris
